Quick Start Instrucions
The quickest way to get started is to click the BETMAX button near the bottom right of the game screen. This will cause the reels to spin. Once the reels come to a halt, all winning combinations will immediately be paid as specified in the paytable. The total winnings will be displayed in the display area entitled “TOTAL WON”.
By clicking BETMAX you are betting on all 15 paylines, which gives you the most ways to win. Your bet per payline will be as indicated in the display area “BET PER LINE”.
You can change the number of paylines on which you wish to bet by clicking on the + and – signs associated with the “LINES” display area. For example, by changing the LINES to 10 you will be paid only on winning combinations on paylines 1 through 10 and not on winning combinations on paylines 11 through 15.
You can also change the bet per payline by adjusting the “BET PER LINE” display using the associated + and – buttons. The more you bet per payline, the more you can win.

What is a payline?
| A payline is a line connecting a symbol from the left-most reel to a symbol in each subsequent reel through to the right-most reel. King's Ransom Video Slots features 15 paylines. These are indicated by the numbered coloured boxes to the left and right of the 5 reels. By positioning your mouse cursor over a numbered box the game will show you the associated payline. In order to win, you must have a winning combination on a payline and you must have bet on that payline. If you have winning combinations on multiple paylines you will be paid for each winning payline as per the paytable! |

What is the winning combination?
The paytable shows all winning combinations. To view the paytable, simply click the button entitled PAYTABLE in the bottom area of the game. For all symbols shown on the paytable, with the exception of the castle (which is called a 'Bonus' symbol), you must have two or more consecutive symbols starting with the left-most reel on a payline in order to be paid. For example, 3 consecutive symbols of the 'boat', starting with the left-most reel will pay £10 for every £1 bet on the winning payline. On the other hand 5 consecutive 'boat' symbols on a payline will pay £150 for every £1 bet on the winning payline. There are three special symbols: |

Wild: The symbol of the wild horse is wild. Wild symbols will either pay as shown in the paytable or a Wild may substitute for any other symbol except Scatter or Bonus. Five wilds on a payline will pay the amount displayed in the progressive jackpot meter shown in the upper right of the game screen! |

Scatter: The symbol of the treasure box is the scatter symbol. The scatter symbols pay regardless of where they appear on the screen. For example, 4 treasure boxes anywhere on the screen will pay £25 for every £1 bet! |

Bonus: The symbol of the castle is the bonus symbol. 3 left-aligned bonus symbols on a payline will trigger the bonus game. The bonus game is a simple game where you must guess if the next card to be drawn from a single 52-card deck is higher or lower than the face-up card being shown. Despite the fact that your screen may not have been updated, the value of the Progressive Jackpot at the time of any win will be determined by our servers.

Lost Connections
If you become disconnected during a game and the game was incomplete, you will automatically be presented with the unfinished game next time you successfully sign in and re-enter the game.

Discontinued Game
We reserve the right to discontinue offering this game at any time. When a game is discontinued players will not be allowed to start a new game. Players will have 30 days to complete any unfinished game. After 30 days of a game being discontinued all wagers of an unfinished game will be returned to the player and the game will no longer be accessible.
Malfunctions
If a malfunction in the gaming system is detected, all pays and plays that may have been affected will be void.
Losing your internet connection is not considered a malfunction in the system.
