Playing Xtra Odds™ Baccarat
Cantor Casino’s Xtra Odds™ Baccarat is an exciting extension to the popular casino game of Baccarat. The main objective of the game is the same as in traditional Baccarat games: to bet on whether the Banker hand or the Player hand will be highest in value, or whether they will have equal value (Tie).
You can also place Pair Bets on whether the first two cards dealt to the Player or the Banker will be a pair.
The major enhancement in Cantor Casino’s Xtra Odds™ Baccarat is that after two cards have been dealt to each of the Player and Banker hand, and a third card is due to be dealt to either or both hands according to the Third Card Rules, the game is paused and you are able to place one or more Xtra Odds™ Bets. The objective remains the same – to bet on the hand that you now think will be highest in value after the remaining cards have been dealt, or whether the two hands will Tie.
How to Play
Cantor Casino's Xtra Odds™ Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Each numbered card less than ten is worth its face value, aces are worth 1, and tens and face cards are worth 0. The suit does not affect the value.
Play begins by betting on the Player hand, Banker hand, or a Tie, by placing one or more chips on the corresponding betting area(s). You may also bet on a Player Pair and/or a Banker Pair by placing one or more chips on the respective betting area(s).
To place a bet, simply click on a chip of the appropriate denomination, then click on the desired betting circle. Each click on the betting circle will add another chip of that denomination. (Another way to place bets is to drag chips from your stack to the betting circles.) If you change your mind, you can remove the wager by shift-clicking on the betting circle or dragging the chip from the betting circle back to your stack.
Click on the Deal button when you have placed all your bets.
Two cards will be dealt to each of the Player and the Banker hand, and the Hand Values will be calculated and displayed.
A third card might be dealt to the Player Hand, Banker Hand or both, depending on the Third Card Rules.
If a third card is to be dealt to either the Player or Banker or both, then you will first be offered the opportunity to place Xtra Odds™ Bets. The odds that are offered for each Xtra Odds™ Bet on Player, Banker and Tie are displayed within their corresponding betting areas. To make a Xtra Odds™ Bet, place one or more chips on one or more of the Xtra Odds™ Bet betting areas.
Click on the Continue button when you are ready to complete the game.
A third card will be dealt to the Player and/or Banker hand in accordance with the Third Card Rules and the final Hand Values will be calculated and displayed on the screen.
The outcome of the game and each of your bets on Player Win, Banker Win, Tie, Player Pair, Banker Pair and Xtra Odds™ Bets are determined, and Payouts are made for winning bets.
After each game the Repeat Bet button displays. Clicking on this button will repeat the initial wagers that you made in the previous game.
The value of each hand is the right digit of the total of the cards. For example, if the two cards were an 8 and a 6, then the total would be 14 and the value would be 4. The hand values always range from 0 to 9 and it is impossible to bust.
A third card may be dealt to the Player hand and/or the Banker hand in accordance with the following rules:

If either the Player or the Banker hand has a value of 8 or 9, no more cards are dealt to either hand.
This rule overrides all other rules. -
If the Player hand total is 5 or less, then a third card is dealt to the Player.

If a third card is not dealt to the Player, then a third card is dealt to the Banker on a total of 5 or less.

If a third card is dealt to the Player, then “X” in the table below indicates when a third card is dealt to the Banker:

Before the cards are dealt, you may place Pair Bets, which pay in the event that the chosen hand(s) - Player or Banker or both - is dealt a pair of cards of the same value, for example two sixes.
Different face cards, for example a King and a Queen, do not count as pairs.
If a third card is to be dealt to either the Player or Banker in accordance with the Third Card Rules, you have the option to place a Xtra Odds™ Bet on Player, Banker, or Tie.
If you are feeling confident about your initial choice you can take this opportunity to increase the stake on your original wager; alternatively, you may prefer to hedge your initial bet by wagering on a different outcome.
The odds for Xtra Odds™ Bets are displayed in the respective betting areas.

In the event of a Tie, initial Player and Banker wagers are returned, but Xtra Odds™ Bets on Player and Banker lose.

Lost Connections
If you become disconnected during a game and the game was incomplete,
you will automatically be presented with the unfinished game next time
you successfully sign in and re-enter the game.
If your internet connection was lost prior to our system recording your
initial bet, then no game will be played and the bet amount will not be
deducted from your casino account.
The results of all recent games can be checked in your account statement.
Select My Account and then Game History after you log into the casino.
Discontinued Games
We reserve the right to discontinue offering this game at any time. When a game is discontinued players will not be allowed to start a new round of this game. Players will have 30 days to complete any unfinished games. After 30 days of a game being discontinued all wagers of an unfinished game will be returned to the player and the game will no longer be accessible.
Malfunctions
If a malfunction in the gaming system is detected, all pays and plays that may have been affected will be void.
Losing your internet connection is not considered a malfunction in the system.
During maintenance and upgrades some games may be temporarily
unavailable, although their icons may still be displayed in the game
selection menu.
